Frequently Asked Questions

Mostly inside with some outside activities. We know Texas weather is unpredictable! Most of the time will be spent inside a well-heated and cooled building with plenty of space. But we do hope to venture outside for some activities.

You will not be asked to speak publicly. There will be plenty of opportunity for fellowship and conversation, but nothing will be "forced" upon you. But we encourage everyone to come with an open mind and heart to receive all that God has for us at this event. And that might include meeting someone new and getting out of your comfort zone. 

We encourage all who are able to plan to be here the entire day (8:30am - 4:30pm). However, you are more than welcome to come to any and all parts that you are available to attend. And of course, if you need to leave early you are welcome to do so. Showing up late is not a problem either. 

We would like you to register as soon as possible. This allows us to plan properly and also begin praying for all the participants that have committed to coming. However, we will not turn away any late registrations. You can register up to the last minute. Or just show up! 

 The $65 from each participant goes 100% towards the costs of putting on the event. Some of those costs include 2 meals (we don't skimp on the food!), coffee, snacks and drinks, supplies, token gifts, and more. Any left-over funds will go towards blessing the ministries of our key-note speakers and worship leader. If you are unable to pay the $65 for any reason you can still register for free by sending us an email at bestilltx@gmail.com and we will find you a sponsor. There are also sponsorship opportunities if you feel led to help pay someone's registration. 

 The Be Still Team is not affiliated with any one specific church. We are a parachurch organization. Our leadership is made up of members from several different churches and denominations across Ellis County. We are just a group of guys wanting to dive deeper into our relationship with God and create the opportunity for genuine Christian fellowship with other men.
